A closer look at our card room
Four tables, a house dealer, and a room we've run much the same way for decades.
Four tables, most open nights
We run four tables in what used to be our founder's storeroom, spaced apart under the same low light he first put in.
Euchre and five hundred take our two busiest tables, crib and rummy fill the quieter corner, and we open a friendly poker table with no buy-in once dinner service slows down.
We put a house dealer on the busier tables from around eight, and we hand out chips at the counter for points only, never for cash.

Euchre
Our busiest table most Thursday and Friday nights
Five Hundred
Runs alongside euchre most evenings we're open
Friendly Poker
No buy-in, opening once dinner service quietens
What we ask once you're seated
- We ask everyone to stay eighteen or over, with ID shown if we're at all in doubt.
- We don't take cash bets at any table, and there's no poker machine anywhere on the property.
- We hand out chips for points only, and we count every one of them back in at the end of the night.
